Australian-born photographer Brooke Mason has been capturing images for the fashion and entertainment worlds for over 15 years. Originally based in New York City, and now living on the West Coast, her work has been featured on the covers and editorial pages of fashion and lifestyle magazines worldwide.
A former international model herself, Mason is well-versed in contemporary media standards of art, aesthetics and beauty. She strives to be authentic and fearless in her art. Pushing boundaries and peoples perceptions. "People see what they want to see in my work, its up to interpretation, thats essentially what art should do. Any reaction is a good one for me."
Mason has had twelve fine-art exhibits this year alone, interviewed in Huffington Post, Daily Mail, Artillery Magazine, Fabrik Magazine, American Photo Magazine, Digital Photography Magazine, Angeleno Magazine, WeHoVille, Chicago3Media and USC Trojan Vision. Also, reviewed by Art Week LA including being "Pick of the Week" when her debut opened "La Haute Main" at Bergamot Station in May.
Mason learned the fundamentals of photography in her very early youth while spending countless hours in the darkroom at Wenona School in Sydney, Australia. Today, she still shoots with some of her original cameras, favoring Hassleblad and Canon, and processes film as much as possible.

Mason is actively involved in the Los Angeles art community by supporting local artists, curating women artist exhibits, working with her group Women Manifest and lecturing at various schools. Additionally she is a member of the LA Art Association.
